After shops, spa, restaurants and hotels, Armani will now become a museum piece. A whole museum, actually. Giorgio Armani has confirmed this week the opening of the Armani Museum in Milan – in Via Bergongnone to be more precise. The space will occupy an old factory and will house an extensive collection of clothing, drawings, sketches, materials and everything else that inspired the work of the stylist over the years. In addition, it will feature library, classrooms and auditorium for conferences.
“I decided to make the fruits of my labor available in my city”, said Armani. “I think it might be interesting especially for the younger generation entering the world of fashion and design to find inspiration and ideas to create new businesses in the future,” added the Italian fashion designer and entrepreneur.
